Hey Evoremental report!
In text references include the author's last name and the year of publication in brackets. For example:
In a recent study of reaction times(Walker, 2000).
Just go to web that Ms. gave us
http://www.library.cornell.edu/
newhelp/res_strategy/
citing/apa.html

Some web does not have authors, I have 1 or 2 references that doesn't have author. Ms said that for in-text reference I can use name of article and year of publication.

on the works cited page, do we have to put the sources into categories (journals, encyclopedias, government etc) or just one long list?

oh, and what if a fact is support by two of your sources, do we just do an in text reference to one or do we put both side by side?

hey ms.

i was wondering what do I do if there is no author?

Yes, all 5 (or more of your references will have in text citations).

If there is no author, you use Title and Year.

Yes, you must hand in ALL of your notes (regardless of how many pages they are).

You only need to use page numbers for in text citations for books.

For books, you would copy the relevant sentences for your notes with the appropriate reference below.

Everything must be handed in in paper format. I will not accept anything on disk/electronically.

Your final references page is listed alphabetically.

If a fact has two references, include both in your in text citation i.e. (Walker, 2007; Smith, 2006)
