Hey miss, I'm having trouble figuring out Q9 on the last page: 0.00045 mm x 0.034 mm. I get the answer: 0.0000153, but then I need to get only 3 numbers after the decimal, so I'm confused on what to do with the zeros between the decimal and 1. Can I express this answer in scientific notation (1.53 x 10^ -5)? Thanks.
I apologize for not getting to this earlier, I had some computer trouble last night. It is multiplication so you want an answer with 2 significant digits. You are correct that scientific notation is the best way to express this number but the answer would b 1.5 x 10^-5.
