Ms Wiens when is the last day for you to check over over FSE Project and do I have to bring in the whole eco house or can I just take a picture of it

Happy New Year ALL!

For me to evaluate your project early, you must complete all parts of it and self evaluate it according to the rubric prior to handing in the ENTIRE project (model included) on the January 9 or 10th.

You must also hand in your self evaluation of your project.

The website for the text book changed, and I can't finish my FSE without it...
Does anyone know how if we can still access it? And if so, how?

I am not sure what is happening with the textbook. I have no new access codes at home, but I can look into it when we return.

What do you need the textbook for? None of the FSE's are in there and you cannot use any questions from the textbook.

The only thing I can think of is that you need it for the chemistry unit.

Topics we will be covering
definitions - atom, element, compound, mixture, pure substance, heterogenous mixture, homogenous mixture, matter, proton, neutron, electron (relative size, mass, location and charge for each of those last 3), metals, nonmetals, metalloids
using the periodic table - families/groups, periods, atomic number, atomic mass
drawing bohr diagrams
molecular/covalent versus ionic bonding and compounds
counting atoms within a chemical formula
naming and writing formulae for simple ionic and molecular compounds

to get you started - if you google any of the above topics you can learn more - ask if you don't understand

For the design a final exam FSE, when I am creating the questions for the Chemistry unit, how should I go about saying the reference date to the questions, when we have not covered it yet. Should I leave it blank for now?
