HI Ms I am currently finishing up my lab report but i was just wondering what a good testable question consists of. i read online that it should consist of a manipulating variable and responding variable. Im not sure if this is correct.

Mmanipulating variable means the thing you are changing AKA the independent variable and the responding variable is what you are measuring to determine the affect AKA the dependent variable - so yes that is a good way of looking at it.

Example of Testable Question: Does Height standing jump distance?

Related Hypothesis: Students who are taller will jump farther than students who are shorter.

Does that help? - if not repost your question.

Ok thanks so I had it right. Another question, my experiment is having my sister run 100 meters 3 times with each type of drink (total 9 times in 3 days, 3 sprints a day) I was wondering in my report do I say my sisters name or just "the athlete"?

I would say the athlete but make a footnote that the athlete is your sister and her age. If you don't know how to make a footnote - see me on Monday.
