Period 2 and 4
Took up textbook homework questions (handed in Bohr Models)
Notes on Groups, Periods and Properties of elements on the periodic table
Coloured the periodic table according to families or other classifications
HMK
For each of the following: Alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, transition metals, rare earth elements, halogens, and noble gases - record 2-3 properties (use google, some are not in the textbook - example type "properties of noble gases")
FSE's due Jan 19
Period 3

What properties of what do we need to do????
Ms what does it means by properties?
Properties are like characteristics that are common to all the elements in that group.
Things like Noble gases are non-reactive, Alkali metals are very reactive, especially with water, that sort of thing. All the Noble gases are gases. All the alkali metals are soft metallic solids. Use google type what you want (ex transition metals) and type the word properties or characterisitics and you should get a bunch, then do the same for the others.
