For the Textbook work on page 575, on Questions 5,6,7, what does it mean by the "Voltage" drop across each lamp/battery/each load ?
Voltage drop is the same as voltage - the pressure decreases as the moving electrons pass through the electrical load/resistor so the pressure going is in greater than the pressure going out and thus there is a difference which is a "drop" which we call "Voltage" AKA "Potential Difference" AKA "Voltage Drop"
