Extra Weekend Review

YOUR UNIT TEST IS THIS FRIDAY - NOV 23 - if you know you will be away you MUST speak to me on MONDAY to schedule an earlier date to write.
  • Review all blog posts and links since the start of this unit.
  • Create a dictionary of all the new terms you've learned this unit - don't forget definitions for each physical and each chemical property.
  • Think about how terms are the same and how terms are different.
  • How are Bohr Models different for atoms, ions, isotopes and compounds?
  • Re-watch any videos that were shown.
  • Redo questions, quizzes that were given or assigned.
  • Review the key concepts of each lab (if you aren't sure what the purpose or take away facts from a lab were - ask this week - the earlier the better)
  • Try the Practice Chemistry Quiz Questions to the Right
  • Try the Chapter 5, 6, and 7 Quizzes to the Right (some of this material is in the textbook but is not part of the curriculum and was not covered, if you are unsure if you are responsible for a concept - ASK)

Go to the following sites for additional practice on various topics
Practice Naming Covalent Compounds
Practice Naming Ionic Compounds
Density Problems
Is it a physical or chemical property?
