Parent Teacher Night will no longer be held this Wednesday evening. Teachers will NOT be in the building at that time.  If you would like to speak to me and haven't yet, please call the school and I will return your call today or Wednesday to set up a time for Friday during the day between 8:15 AM and 2:00 PM. This is the same for any of your secondary student's teachers.

Tomorrow I will be out of the building all day. If you have any questions, be sure to post them in the comment section or see me on Wednesday.

Handed in Ionic Bonding Worksheet (was assigned last Thursday)
Gas Test Lab was completed in class today. During the lab EACH student was to copy and complete the data table, and make point form notes as to how the lab was done.

Tomorrow IN CLASS each student will write a Procedure for the lab in proper format and submit it for evaluation.  This MUST be completed in class NOT at home.  It will be evaluated out of 10 marks on proper format and inclusion of all steps with correct terminology (spelling and grammar will also be evaluated).

CHEMISTRY QUIZ THURSDAY NOV 15 - everything since the start of chemistry but more heavily weighted with material from last quiz (Bohr Models, using the periodic table, groups/families and periods on the periodic table, isotopes - what they are and drawing Bohr Models for isotopes, ions - how to determine an ion's charge - how to draw a Bohr model for an ion, stable octet rule, naming and writing formulae and drawing Bohr models for ionic compounds, standard atomic notation)
